Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 23: In commemoration of the 76th NCC Day, 2 J&K BN NCC, Jammu, successfully organized three blood donation camps across the districts of Jammu, Udhampur, and Reasi. The initiative, carried out in collaboration with local organizations, aimed to promote community service and contribute to healthcare needs. The camps saw a tremendous response from NCC cadets, students, and staff, who enthusiastically participated, donating blood for a noble cause. With the support of key individuals and organizations including Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Principal of Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr. Meena Sidhu, HoD of the Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Jammu, the Red Cross Society, and the J&K Thalassemia Welfare Society, the event was a major success. A total of 129 units of blood were collected, showcasing the generosity and social responsibility of the donors. This effort highlights NCC's commitment to supporting social causes and contributing to the well-being of the community. |
