| Poonch police recover heroine like substance | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Dec 11: Poonch Police have successfully recovered 6 grams of heroin-like substance during a routine operation in Potha area. The suspect identified as Shakeel Ahmed, a resident of Mohra Bachai, under Police Station Surankote, was apprehended on the spot. The operation was conducted based on specific intelligence inputs about suspicious activities in the region. Acting swiftly, a police team intercepted the suspect and recovered the contraband substance during the search. Shakeel Ahmed has been taken into custody for further investigation. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the concerned police station.
