| Habitual bovine smuggler detained under PSA in Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: In a decisive move to tackle criminal activities in the district, the Udhampur Police have detained Mohd. Akram, a notorious bovine smuggler, under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA). Akram, son of Maskeen Ali from Jojra Talab, Udhampur, has been implicated in numerous bovine smuggling cases across the district.
The District Magistrate Udhampur issued the detention orders after it was deemed that Akram's continued involvement in illegal activities posed a significant threat to the peace and order of the region. Akram's actions have been a persistent challenge to law enforcement, necessitating his detention to prevent further disturbances.
This action is part of ongoing efforts by the Udhampur Police to crack down on criminal elements and maintain law and order in the district. |
