Samba, Dec 12: Army Public School Samba celebrated its Annual Day, A Symphony of Diversity, with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The event was graced by the Chairman of Army Public School Samba, who presided over the function, alongside the Principal. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. This was followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana and a melodious welcome song by the school choir. The stage then lit up with modeling performances by Class I and II students, showcasing their confidence and charm. A series of cultural performances enthralled the audience, including the traditional Kashmiri Rouf dance, a lively Dogri dance, and an energetic Bhangra performance, reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage. A captivating English drama further demonstrated the students’ acting talents and creativity. The event also celebrated the achievements of students across various fields. Special awards, including the prestigious Student of the Year title, were presented to recognize exceptional academic and extracurricular contributions. Distinguished alumni were honored for their continued support and inspiration, and awards were given to the Best House and Academic Achievers of the year. The Chief Guest lauded the students and teachers for organizing a vibrant and well-executed program. He emphasized the importance of holistic development and encouraged the students to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
