SAMBA, Dec 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted anti-drug awareness programmes at Govt. Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur and Govt. Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Vijaypur, aiming to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse.
Held under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), the events were presided over by the SDPO Vijaypur and SHO of Police Station Vijaypur. A total of 21 students actively participated in the sessions, which were attended by lecturers, teachers, and members of the school management.
As a token of appreciation, participating students were presented with school bags and stationery items.
The principals of both institutions expressed heartfelt gratitude to the J&K Police for their valuable contributions, emphasizing the positive impact on students' learning environment. The school management and attendees lauded the police's efforts to raise awareness and combat drug abuse within the community. |
