JU building scam: VC reluctant to order probe 10/3/2016 11:21:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 3: Bringing more shame to his chair, the Vice Chancellor of Jammu University seems reluctant to order an inquiry into the much-hyped scam in the new building of Directorate of Distance Education. The authorities of JU have adopted the policy of patronizing the corruption and covering up the wrongdoings of corrupt officials. The hushing up of DDE new building scam is latest in the line as the administration hesitates in ordering inquiry into the same to expose the people behind poor construction of the building owing to which it has started crumbling in bits and pieces within two years of commissioning. According to sources, JU administration instead of ordering inquiry into the sub-standard construction is trying to cover up the same by ordering repair works at the cost of university exchequer.
