To appease Minister, deptt likely to dump SC's decision on seniority | FPF awaits recruitment rules since its creation in 1996 | | Akshay Azad

Jammu, Nov 12: The recruitment rules for Forest Protection Force (FPF) are under process and employees are quite apprehensive that the department is likely to sideline decision of Standing Committee on finalization of seniority list.
Sources informed Early Times that a five member standing committee had its meeting on 21/8/2014, to discuss the finalization of Recruitment rules of FPF, which have yet to frame since the creation of Force way back in 1996.
The five member Standing Committee was comprised of Administrative Officer of FPF, Director Codes of Finance Department, Special Secretary (Technical) Forest department, Special Secretary Law, Commissioner Secretary of Department of ARI and Trainings.
"During the meeting it was finalized that the seniority of the members of FPF would be determined on the basis of rule 24 of CCA rules of 1956, according to which seniority of officers, would be decided as per the merit of the employees in the selection list", sources said.

Jammu, Nov 12: In absence of a policy mechanism for testing drugs procured by the Health Department, the patients in the Government Hospitals are reportedly administered drugs without testing as per norms putting their lives at risks.
