Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 18: The administration of Jammu University is again in news for all the wrong reasons. This time it has regularized three Project Officers who were earlier appointed on 'contract' basis against two sanctioned posts. The 'syndicate' endorsed the wrongdoing of the past without going into the merits of the case which shows that the Financial Advisor of the varsity did not apply his mind and acted as a rubber stamp. According to documents available with Early Times, the three Project Officers-Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva, Dr. Bharati Prabhakar and Dr. Sandeep Singh-were appointed in the Centre for Continuing Education and Extension (now Department of Lifelong Learning) on 'contract' basis against the two advertised posts in February 2009. All the three Project Officers were appointed on a consolidated salary of Rs 15000 per month.
