Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Jan 17: In a brazen violation of rules and regulations, a senior assistant posted in zonal education office Thathri, Chur Chand Sharma has prepared two service books of a teacher, Romesh Kumar.
According to reports, the written complaint of Romesh Kumar, teacher UPS Sharni stated that the clerk had misplaced his service book and demanded a bribe of Rs. 44000 from him to make some entries in his service book afresh.
The complaint further stated that the Teachers of education department had also raised voice for tampering in the service records and complained the higher authorities for the same.
Keeping in view the circumstances and the seriousness of the case, chief education officer Doda had formed an inquiry committee led by Principal HSS Jetheli Abdul Latief and Headmaster High School Pranoo Abdul Rashid vide order No 15030-31 Dated 25-7-2018, but nothing was done till date as
CEO Doda gave full time to his corruption agent to prepare another service book and remove all the entries which do not suit the teacher.
The sources told the Early Times that the Clerk with the help of Zonal Education Officer Thathri prepared another fake service book of the teacher with some forged signatures of the former ZEOs to hush up the matter. The photo state copies of the earlier service book of the said teacher somehow was lying with some Teacher of the zone who accordingly played its role in breaking this scandal while at the same time CEO Doda and Director School education were also giving full time to ZEO Thathri to hush up the uniform scam, IED building scam and misappropriation of funds in already closed Primary School Zea Abad and UPS Amritgarh which was also highlighted by the Early Times from time to time.
