HM-HUJI join hands in J&K | | | Asif Iqbal Naik kishtwar, Jan 1: Two dreaded Pakistan based militant organizations Hizbul Mujahideen and Harkat-Ul-Jihad-e-Islami (HUJI) have reportedly joined hands in Jammu and Kashmir to counter the security grid that had launched massive operation against them causing heavy losses to them. According to the sources, both the militant organizations are at the verge of extinction and have joined hands for their survival. The sources further added that both the dread militant organizations are facing shortage of weapons, funds and power to resist the mounting pressure from security forces. "Even though few militants manage to infiltrate into the State in recent past, but still the number is far less as compared to 90's and subsequent decade," the sources added. The intelligence reports of HM and HUJI coming together are confirmed from the HUJI poster that appeared nearly a week ago in Ramban district. The poster duly signed by HUJI commander Abu Haroon Rashid alias Numan appeared in Dhram (Gool) area of Ramban district threatening Sarpanches and Panches, beside issued warning to HCC company and other companies involved in railway construction work against harassing the local workers. As per the script of the poster available with "Early Times", HUJI commander made a desperate appeal to citizens to stop selling the blood of those martyrs who sacrificed their lives and issued the warning to all the Panches and Sarpanches to resign with immediate effect. The HUJI poster further stated that newly recruited batches of Hizbul Mujahideen and Harkat-ul-Mujahideen with great mission and enthusiasm. The HUJI through this poster also warned people against alcoholism and use of cannabis in the area. |
