Jammu, Sept 26 : In a PIL, seeking handing over of the entire DC office complex at Kishtwar for use of district courts, a high court division bench of first puisne judge, Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice B S Walia today directed the senior AAG to file compliance of its August 30, 2016 order, whereby it had directed to file compliance report with regard to the handing over of the revenue building for the use of judicial department.The senior AAG submitted that 80 pc of the stock in the existing revenue building had been shifted to the new building and the balance 20 pc would be moved within a week's time. Thereafter, handing over of the revenue building for the use of judicial department would be done, for which, formal orders would be passed by the revenue department in consultation with the high court Registrar General, she submitted. The senior AAG submitted that the revenue secretary had gone for Haj and she had also taken up the issue with the law secretary and the matter was under process. She said she would file the compliance report before the next date of hearing. The court also issued a notice in the fresh application moved by some residents of Kishtwar, seeking their impleadment in the PIL. After hearing the two sides, the bench directed the senior AAG to file compliance report within three weeks.(JNF) |
