Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 16: All Jammu and Kashmir Plus-2 Lectures' Forum on Sunday welcomed the posting of Babila Rakhwal as Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) in monthly meeting held at Udhampur. According to press release, the monthly meeting was organised under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, President of the Forum and hoped that she would take necessary steps to streamline the functioning of the department under her jurisdiction and strive hard to achieve academic excellence. They demanded that the various issues of the education fraternity, including review of the transfer orders of hard hit lecturers and teachers, filling up a large number of vacancies, adjustment of surplus lecturers etc will be considered and suitably would be resolved by the new DSEJ. They further demanded rationalisation of the posts of lecturers in all Higher Secondary Schools and 'Heritage School' status to those schools which have completed hundred years of their existence. Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Ved Prakash Sharma, D P Sharma, Arunesh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Rakeshwar Sharma, Ravi Kanchan, Joginder Gupta and others. |
