Jammu, Oct 16: Military Engineering Services's (MES) workers on Sundayorganized a general body meeting at MES Colony near KV-1, Akhnoor. The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Narinder Kumar Dubey, President of the worker union. According to press release, the meeting was also addressed by Sham Parsad Kesar, Sr Leader and Jagdish Sharma, Secretary of state Committee of CITU. In the meeting it was unanimously decided to constitute a union namely (MES) Defense Workers Union -Jammu in order to protect and safe guard their constitutional rights thereafter office bearers and working committee members of the union were elected.
Dev Raj, Sanjeev Kumar and Parshotam Singh were appointed as President, General Secretary and Jt. Secretary respectively whereas Vijay Kumar as cashier.
Similarly Surinder Kumar, Pushpinder Kumar, Tara Chand, Sanjay Kumar has been elected as vice president and Mohinder Singh as office secretary. |
