| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 5 bovines rescued, 1 vehicle seized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 15: Jammu & Kashmir police in Jammu District continues tightening noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu.
Police team of Police Post PouniChak led by incharge PP foiled one bovine smuggling bid and rescued 05 bovines and seized 01 Mahinder bolero pickup bearing registration number JK19 A 2928 from Seora area while driver of the said vehicle fled from spot.
In this regard, FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Domana and further investigation of the case is underway.
General public of the area appreciated the active role of police for taking tough stand against bovine smugglers. |
