| Udhampur Police Rescued 48 Bovines, 02 Accused Arrested | | | Udhampur, May 15: Udhampur Police rescued 48 cattles from the clutches of 02 bovine smugglers at Tikri.
Team of Police Post Tikri led by Incharge Police Post Tikri foiled 02 bovine smuggling bids in which total 48 bovines were rescued from 02 bovine smugglers namely Mohd. Fareed S/O Ab. Gani R/O Dharamkund, Ramban and Mohd. Latief S/O Gh. Hussain R/O Javid Nagar Nikki Tawi, Jammu who were taking these bovines by foot towards Kashmir valley.
All the bovines were rescued and both the smugglers got arrested on the spot.
In this regard 02 different FIR cases under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rehambal. Further investigation of both the cases are underway |
