BHADARWAH, Jan 25: National Voters’ Day was celebrated at Community Hall Bhaderwah with enthusiasm to spread awareness about the importance of voting and democratic values.
ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal addressed the gathering and delivered a brief yet impactful speech, emphasizing the significance of National Voters’ Day and encouraging citizens, particularly the youth, to actively participate in the democratic process.
The event was attended by Tehsildar Bhaderwah, EO MCB Bhaderwah, Naib Tehsildar Bhaderwah, AEE Jal Shakti, ZEO Bhaderwah, ZEPO Bhaderwah, along with other Sub-Division level officers and officials.
Students from various schools also participated in the programme, making the event lively and meaningful.
The function was also celebrated at all polling stations across Bhaderwah, where Booth Level Officers (BLOs) shared their views on the importance of National Voters’ Day and educated voters about their rights and responsibilities.
The programme concluded with a rally that proceeded towards the ADC office, where participants took a pledge to strengthen democracy through informed and responsible voting. |
