Gilgit-Baltistan brought under ambit of Pak SC | Pakistan again violates UN resolutions on J&K | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19: Pakistan continues to violate the UN resolutions on J&K and bring material changes in the illegally occupied areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday, while giving a written order regarding the constitutional status of Gilgit-Baltistan and the grant of "fundamental rights to its citizens", ruled that the powers of the top court also extended to the region. Earlier, Pakistan had ceded over 5,000 sq km area in the Gilgit-Baltistan region to China violating the UN resolutions on J&K.

Jammu, Jan 19: Even as the terrorists have intensified attacks on security forces in Srinagar, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation has asked the paramilitary forces to remove concertina wires guarding their camps at some sensitive places.
Sources said SMC authorities recently created a scene outside a paramilitary camp along Airport Road in Srinagar asking the officials of the said installation to come out for a roadside discussion for removal of concertina wires.

Jammu, Jan 19: The casusl labourers engaged by Bhaderwah Tourism Development Authority (BTDA) are without wages since September 2016.
Wishing anonymity, a causal labourer informed Early Times that over 60 employees engaged in said authority since it was established.
