JAMMU, Jan 19: More skeletons are tumbling out from the cupboard of unabated loot of state exchequer in Rural Development Department as a former Executive Engineer, REW Samba, had transferred several lacs rupees in his personal savings account of J&K Bank’s Sidhra branch in 2017, under MGNREGA.
According to copies of invoices/ authority letters available with Early Times, from January to September 2017, the then XEn REW Samba transferred Rs around Rs 6 lacs in his personal account from the official account.
