Jammu, Jan 23: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi touched on various issues during a rally at the Ashok Nagar area of Jammu but he avoided speaking on the restoration of Article 370.
Shockingly, Rahul Gandhi not spoke even a single word about the gruesome terror attacks in the Dhangri village of Rajouri in which seven members of the minority community were killed by terrorists.
In his 21 minutes speech, Rahul Gandhi spoke about different issues to attack BJP.
Rahul Gandhi supported the demand for statehood to Jammu and Kashmir but he avoided touching the issue of the highly controversial issue of restoration of Article 370.

Jammu, Jan 23: Alleging that Kashmiri Pandits are facing injustice at the hands of the government, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday asked Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to apologise to the community for telling the Prime Minister’s package employees that they should not seek alms.
Mr Gandhi made the statement shortly after a Kashmiri Pandit delegation called on him during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Samba district earlier in the day and briefed him about their various issues including “targeted killings” by terrorists and the resultant protest by those employed under the prime minister’s package.

Jammu, Jan 23: Four days before the Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Kashmir Valley after covering Jammu province, outspoken Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijaya Singh stoked controversy by questioning the 2016 surgical strike against Pakistan.
Addressing a rally on the concluding day of the 129th day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra at Satwari Chowk in Jammu city, Digvijay, who is known for stoking controversies, said that there is no proof of the surgical strike.

Jammu, Jan 23: A special CBI court on Monday closed banned JKLF chief Yasin Malik’s right to cross-examine a prime witness after he refused to do so through video conferencing.
Currently serving a life sentence in Delhi’s Tihar Jail for terror funding, Malik had demanded that he should be allowed to cross-examine witnesses physically in the Jammu court.
