Jammu, Jan 24: As party leader, Digvijay Singh provided ammunition to the arch-rival BJP amid the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi snubbed former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and dubbed his statement on surgical strike as “ridiculous”.
Rahul Gandhi admitted that the senior leader of his party made a “ridiculous” statement.
“I am sorry to say about a senior leader but he says a ridiculous thing”, Rahul Gandhi said when his attention was drawn towards the statement of his party colleague Digvijay who on Monday raised questions over the 2016 surgical strike. Jammu, Jan 24: Actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra as it resumed from the garrison town of Nagrota on a cold Tuesday morning.

Srinagar, Jan 24: Security forces have busted a terrorist recruitment module in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir being run by Pakistani handlers through social media, a senior police officer said on Tuesday.
“Five youths, including two juveniles, were rescued from terror folds, counselled and handed over to their parents in the Pattan area of Baramulla district,” Senior Superintendent of Police Amod Nagpure told reporters in Pattan, 30 kilometres from here.
He said the police and army unearthed the module in which Pakistani handlers through social media were trying to lure youths into joining terrorist ranks and act against the government of India.
