SRINAGAR, Jan 28: A single parent family consisting of five members is living a life full of hardships since the lone bread earner of the family was snatched by jaws of death after he was seriously injured in a grenade explosion almost three months back.
The grenade explosion took place at Hari Singh High Street in the heart of summer capital of union territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The explosion shattered the family of Khan’s living in the Habak area in the outskirts of the Srinagar city. The family is yet to come to terms after losing its head.
Fifty years old Fayaz Ahmad Khan, resident of Meerak Shah Colony, Habak used to sell traditional fast food item (masala) at Hazratbal market in order to eke out a living for the family consisting of six members. On November 4, 2019 he decided to go to Hari Singh High Street to sell his merchandise, but fate had something terrible in store for him and the family.

Health experts said the kids, mainly below four years of age, had died after suffering for symptoms like vomiting and fever. JAMMU, Jan 28: Jammu and Kashmir administration has sent yet another message to Kashmir centric leaders by changing the nomenclature of the police medals.
The Home Department of J&K UT on the eve of 71st Republic Day issued an order stating that Sher-e-Kashmir has been removed from the police gallantry medals and these have been rechristened.
