SMC Commissioner’s term over: Deputy Mayor writes to Chief Secy Municipality Drama? 1/4/2023 11:39:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 4: In a high drama at the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, its Deputy Mayor, Parvaiz Ahmed Qadri on January 4 shot a formal letter to the Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta making shocking claims that the “term” of SMC Commissioner has “expired” on December 31, 2022 and that he should be replaced forthwith. The Deputy Mayor said the “special term” of Commissioner was by virtue of “a special order” and that the same order of two year validity expired on December 31, 2022. In his letter to the Chief Secretary, a copy of which lies with the Early Times, Qadri said: “Esteemed Sir.
