Govt attaches officer after complaint from 2 women subordinates | | |

Srinagar, Oct 11: A few days after the Early Times reported that two female subordinates have filed a complaint against their boss in Sheep Husbandry department in Kashmir, the “accused” has been “attached with immediate effect”.
“Government Order No: EV1 JK (APD) of 2022 dated 10-10-2022 Dr (Name withheld) I/C DSHO, Ganderbal, is hereby attached with the Directorate of Sheep Husbandry, Kashmir with immediate effect till further orders,” reads the order, a copy of which lies with the Early Times.
“Dr Showkat Ahmad Ahanger I/C District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Bandipora shall look after the work of the post of District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Ganderbal in addition to his own duties. By Order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads the order issued by Atal Dulloo, IAS Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) vide number : ASHF-SHOGAZ/13/2022 Dated: 10-10-2022.

Jammu, Oct 11: Senior IPS officer Deepak Kumar was on Tuesday given the additional charge of Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (Prisons). The post fell vacant after the murder of DGP (prisons) Hemant Kumar Lohia allegedly by his domestic help here last week.
Kumar, a 1993-batch officer, is presently posted as Director General (prosecution) and is also holding the additional charge as Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation, and Director Prosecution, Kashmir. In an order, J-K home department said Kumar shall also hold the additional charge of the post of DGP (Prisons) in addition to his own duties till further orders.

Jammu, Oct 11: Sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches in 18 locations in Rajouri, Poonch, Jammu, Srinagar, Bandipora, Shopian, Pulwama, and Budgam districts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
NIA sleuths also arrested one Mohammad Ameer Shamshi resident of Rajouri in a case related to the criminal activities of the Al Huda Educational Trust ( AHET) in the border district of Rajouri.
According to reports, Shamshi is head of the AHET Rajouri and was collecting funds to financially support the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
