ISI using Punjab border to drop arms for terrorists active in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: As security has been strengthened on the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) to foil any infiltration attempt, Pakistan is using drones to smuggle arms, ammunition, and narcotics on this side of the border.
Instead of using the J&K border to smuggle arms, Pakistan-based terrorists are focussing on Punjab to drop arms for terror outfits active in the Union Territory.
According to reports in the past nine months, security forces have observed the entry of 191 Pakistan-controlled drones into Indian territory during the first nine months of this year.
Infiltration of drones, originating from Pakistan, is a major concern in terms of internal security in the country. Interestingly, the illegal entry of Pakistan-controlled drones is frequent in Punjab because terror mentors sitting across the border are using the Punjab border to smuggle arms for the terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Army dog Zoom is stable after surgery was performed on him. His fractured rear leg was plastered and splinter injuries on his face were treated. New Delhi, Oct 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the fourth Vande Bharat Express train in Himachal Pradesh's Una district on Thursday, officials said.
The train will run between Delhi to Amb Andaura Railway station in Una, they said on Wednesday.
The train will run six days a week except on Wednesdays, with stops at Ambala, Chandigarh, Anandpur Sahib, and Una.
Himachal Pradesh is going to polls later this year.

SRINAGAR, Oct 12: The samples of two suspected Monkeypox cases from Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have turned negative, officials said here on Wednesday.
Block medical officer Boniyar Dr Parvaiz Masoodi said that samples of two persons that were sent to SKIMS Microbiology lab for screening have returned negative for monkeypox.

New Delhi, Oct 12: There must be proof of direct or indirect acts of incitement and evidence of continuous harassment against the accused in an abetment to suicide case for holding them guilty, the Supreme Court observed on Wednesday and acquitted a Chennai-based doctor and his mother convicted of driving his wife to take the extreme step.
It said there should also be cogent evidence to establish a positive action by the accused which should be proximate to the time of occurrence and can be said to have led or compelled a person to take the drastic step.
