Jammu, Oct 16: Within minutes after the gruesome killing of Puran Krishan Bhat terror outfit “Kashmir Freedom Fighters” has claimed responsibility for this incident.
Sources said that Pakistan has created proxy outfits to give indigenous colour to the ongoing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Proxy terror outfits like The Resistance Front (TRF), Peoples' Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), Gaznavi Force, United Liberation Front, Geelani Force, Lashkar-e-Mustafa, Lashar-e-Islam and Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighter have been claiming responsibility for terror attacks, particularly selective killings.
Sources said that these proxy outfits have been created by Pakistan just to hoodwink the world due to international pressure to stop sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Important to mention here that a little-known terror outfit, Kashmir Tigers, claimed responsibility for killing Rahul Bhat who was killed by terrorists in May this year.

Jammu, Oct 16: Even as Puran Krishan Bhat, a Kashmir Pandit was shot dead in Shopian on October 15, the intelligence agencies had inputs of apprehended terror strike on the victimized community.
Sources said the intelligence agencies had inputs that the Pakistan sponsored terrorists were conspiring to carry out a “targeted killing” of Kashmir Pandit.
It was reliably learnt that a few days ago some Kashmiri Pandits were briefed by security establishment to be “extra cautious as there were inputs of apprehended terror strike.”

Jammu, Oct 16: The much awaited polls to elect new Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation are scheduled to be held on October 21.
The process of filing nominations will begin on October 17.
“For transparent and fair polling, elections for new Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be held through open ballot on October 21 and the nominations will be filed on Monday,” said an official.

Gwalior, Oct 16: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday laid the foundation for the new terminal building and expansion of the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior city.
The new terminal building will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 446 crore, an official said.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were present on the occasion.
