9th terrorist on India’s ‘most wanted list’ killed in Karachi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: The killing of terrorists figured on the most wanted list of India going on in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, Mufti Qaiser Farooq, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Pakistan’s city of Karachi.
This incident raised concerns in Pakistan as it follows a pattern of high-profile terrorists being eliminated in Pakistan. A video of this incident also went viral on social media.
This was the ninth such killing of a top terrorist commander operating from across the border this year.
According to reports in Pakistani media, unidentified armed individuals opened fire on Qaiser Farooq, aged 30 at the Gulshan-i-Umar seminary near the Edhi Centre before fleeing the scene. Samanabad SHO Irshad Ahmed Soomro reported that the injured victims were subsequently transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Qaiser Farooq succumbed to his injuries during treatment, having sustained bullet wounds to the back.

Hyderabad, Oct 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone for several developmental projects and inaugurated other finished structures, in total worth more than Rs 13,500 crore via videoconferencing in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana.
In addition, the Indian government is establishing a Central Tribal University in Mulugu district of Telangana at a cost of Rs 900 crore, and this university will be named Samakka Sarakka Central Tribal University, the Prime Minister said after launching the projects.

Srinagar, Oct 1: Jammu and Kashmir government on Sunday ordered suspension of two senior police officers including DySP Sheikh Adil, who was recently arrested in a corruption case in Srinagar. According to an order, J&K home department stated that Adil Mushtaq, Deputy Superintendent of Police, shall be deemed to have been placed under suspension with effect from 21.09.2023. Adil was arrested on September 21 in case FIR No. 149/2023 under sections 7, 7A of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, and section 167, 193, 201, 210, 218, 221 of IPC in Police Station Nowgam.
