Jammu, Oct 2: Chaos and confusion prevailing within the ranks of the PDP came to fore on Tuesday when one of its senior leaders termed the party's decision to boycott upcoming polls as "wrong and rectifiable."
The leader, a former legislator who also headed J&K Muslim Waqf Board during the tenure of Mehbooba Mufti as Chief Minister, came out with a detailed statement, claiming that by virtue of the boycott of the polls, the party has paved the way for BJP to infiltrate into Kashmir's politics and claim majority in the state legislature. He said the decision to boycott the ULB polls was a wrong one and needs rectification.

Jammu, Oct 2: Public Health Engineering Department has allegedly incurred Rs 7 crore on eight works which were not included in damaged reports post flood in Jammu region in total violation of Special Plan Assistance released by Government of India.
Sources told Early Times that eight works which were not mentioned in the damage reports post flood in 2014 prepared by the Divisions including PHE City-I Division Jammu, PHE City -II Division Jammu and PHE Rural Jammu were sanctioned for Jammu district under Special Plan Assistance (SPA) at an estimated cost of Rs 11 crore.
