Delhi air quality deteriorates, Kejriwal stages political stunts to divert attention | | |

New Delhi, Oct 29: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi has been once again caught on a wrong foot as the air quality in the national capital has worsened. The AAP imposing a ban on bursting fire crackers on the occasion of Diwali, a move which was viewed as anti-Hindu, didn’t make much difference as the air quality has deteriorated.
To hide its failures, the AAP government has tried to put the blame on Lieutenant Governor of Delhi claiming he purposely did not approve their 'Red Light on, Gaadi Off' campaign aimed towards reducing pollution. The LG however, shot back, saying AAP "lied" about the rollout date of the campaign.
Amid worsening pollution levels in Delhi, the Centre's air quality panel has directed the authorities in the National Capital Region to implement curbs such as a ban on construction and demolition activities under the Graded Response Action Plan stage III.

SHIMLA, Oct 29: Cautioning people against the nefarious designs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Union Minister Anurag Thakur termed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as an “anarchist”. “We brought inflation under control and slashed fuel prices in the BJP-ruled states but they didn't go down in Congress-ruled states,” Union Minister Anurag Thakur said addressing a press conference in connection with the state assembly polls.

Jammu, Oct 29: The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court on Saturday allowed the resumption of trial in the infamous Nadimarg massacre case which was closed in 2011.
The Court allowed a revision petition of J&K Police in the 2003 Nadimarg massacre case – the verdict means the trial which had abruptly halted more than a decade back can now resume.
Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul in the judgment pronounced Saturday afternoon ordered the trial court to take all necessary measures for ensuring the examination of witnesses by issuing a commission and/or recording their statements through videoconferencing.

Srinagar, Oct 29: Twenty-four Kashmiri Pandits were killed by terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Nadimarg village near Shopian in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on March 23, 2003.
