Stable Govt led to India’s rapid development: PM Modi | | | Agencies
Mehsana, Oct 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the rapid development being seen in the country and the praise which it is garnering across the world is because of the power of the public that has given a stable government.
He was addressing a public rally at Kheralu in Gujarat's Mehsana district after inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for a host of development projects worth Rs 5,950 crore.
Prime Minister Modi said Gujarat has experienced how a stable government continuing for a long time has helped in taking one decision after another, benefitting the state
The PM also said that when he takes a pledge, he fulfils it.
"At the root of the rapid development being seen in the country and India's praise in the world (for rapid development) is the power of the public that has given a stable government in the country," he said.

Prez Murmu to arrive in Ladakh today, visit Siachen base camp | | | Agencies
New Delhi, Oct 30: President Droupadi Murmu will begin her two-day visit to Ladakh Tuesday, said a press release from Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.
She will attend the foundation day celebrations of UT Ladakh at Leh on Tuesday.
The President will visit Siachen Base Camp and interact with troops on Wednesday.
The same day, she will attend the civic reception to be hosted in her honour at Leh too.

Srinagar, Oct 30: A non-local was shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.
The victim was identified as Mukesh of Uttar Pradesh.
Police said the incident took place in the Tumchi Nowpora area of Pulwama when terrorists opened fire on the non-local labour.
"Terrorists fired upon one labourer identified as Mukesh of UP in Tumchi Nowpora area of #Pulwama, who later succumbed to his injuries," police said in a post on X.
The area has been cordoned off by the joint forces to trace the attackers.
This is the third violence incident in the last 24 hours in Kashmir.
