Jammu, Oct 7: Even when more than a year has passed since the BJP and PDP ended their alliance at a sour note in Jammu and Kashmir, the question whether there was an agenda of alliance in reality between the two continues to remain a mystery.
On June 19, 2018 the BJP pulled the rug beneath of PDP's feet and ended the coalition government , paving way for the imposition of governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir. Prior to this, the PDP had been maintaining the rhetoric that the alliance was being guided by the Agenda of Alliance or AoA signed between the two parties after the hectic deliberations for two months post the fracture mandate accorded by 2014 polls.

srinagar, Oct 7: The administration is contemplating to release a senior leader of National Conference, who is presently under detention at the Centaur Hotel here as a "test of political waters."
Sources said the police and the civil administration are looking ahead to hold negotiations with the NC leaders under detention in a plan to release them all in a phased manner.
