Alert in Kashmir after back-to-back terror attacks | | |

Jammu, Oct 31: An Alert has been sounded in Kashmir Valley after two back-to-back terror attacks. Forces are on their toes to foil the evil designs of the terror mentors sitting across the border.
Terrorists once again started targeted attacks in the Kashmir Valley. On Monday terrorists shot dead a migrant labourer of Uttar Pradesh in the Pulwama district. This was the second attack by terrorists. Earlier on Sunday, a terrorist had shot and injured Police Inspector Masroor Ahmed Wani who was playing cricket in the crowded Idgah ground of Srinagar.
In view of the increasing activity of terrorists, an alert has been sounded in all the districts of Kashmir.
According to police, the killed worker Mukesh Kumar, son of Ganga Prasad, resident of Bhatpura Samadha, Unnao Uttar Pradesh was working with other colleagues at a brick kiln in the Tuchi Naupora area of Pulwama. On Monday afternoon, when he went to the shop to get items, the terrorists shot him dead.

Terrorists kill Policeman in Baramulla | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Oct 31: A head constable of Police was shot dead by terrorists in Baramulla district.
Head Constable Ghulam Mohammad Dar was shot at by the terrorists outside his residence at Kralpora in Pattan area of the district, the officials said.
They said Dar was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

Jammu, Oct 31: After inviting all agitating Ladakh groups for talks, the Union Government is going to solve all issues related to the Union Territory of Ladakh before the Lok Sabha elections.

LEH, Oct 31: President Droupadi Murmu Tuesday reached Ladakh for her two day visit during which she is scheduled to take part in the Union Territory Foundation Day and also visit the Siachen base camp.
An official said, the President was received by Lieutenant Governor of Ladkah, CEC Leh, CEC Kargil at Leh He said that she will attend Foundation Day celebrations in Leh and tomorrow she will visit Siachen base camp and interact with troops.

Jammu, Oct 31: Jammu Police on Tuesday arrested an accused within three hours after he murdered his mother and his minor daughter.
Police in a statement said that at about 5:00 PM an information was received at Police Station Bisnnah that a person namely Jag Dev Singh @Michael has killed his mother Kamla Devi and his three month old daughter at his residence Morchapur Bishnah with a sharp edged weapon.

Jammu, Oct 31: In view of the recent incidents of cross-border firing, the Jammu District administration has ordered the ban of sale and use of firecrackers within a radius of five kilometers from the International Border and the Line of Control with immediate effect and will continue until further orders.

KUPWARA, Oct 31: At least 4 persons died while 10 others were injured after a vehicle fell in a gorge in Nawagabra area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that the vehicle skidded off and fell in a gorge, resulting in death of 4 persons.
He said that 10 others travelling in the vehicle also suffered injuries in the incident.
