Jammu, Nov 10: No senior BJP leader spared time from their busy schedule to attend 10th day ceremony of party leader Anil Parihar who along with his elder brother Ajeet Parihar were shot dead by suspected terrorists on Novermber 1.
When breaved residents of Kishtwar were observing 10th day of Anil Parihar and his elder brother, BJP leaders were shamelessly celebrating announcement of the names of its Mayor and Deputy Mayor candidates for Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Credible sources said that all BJP leaders were awared that 10th day of their leader Anil Parihar will be observed at Kishtwar on Saturday but they were more particular about celebrating announcement of Mayor and Deputy Mayour. After tasting power first time in the history of J&K, BJP leadership is more particular about celebrations rather than boosting moral of party workers at the grass-root level.

NIA to probe surge in Kishtwar militancy | | | Asif Iqbal Naik

kishtwar, Nov 10: A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday arrived in Kishtwar that has witnessed a rise in militancy in recent months that led to the killing of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar.
As per details available with Early Times, the NIA team headed by SSP Rakesh Kumar and Inspector Amit Kumar will investigate some of the major militancy-related incidents that took place in Kishtwar in last over two decades and also the case of surrendered militants, jailed militants, and those who had returned from Pakistan under the rehabilitation scheme.

srinagar, Nov 10: After a crackdown on the separatist leadership into the terror funding cases in Kashmir, the National Investigative Agency (NIA) has got inputs that some of the mainstream leaders could also be a part of the "hawala nexus."
Sources said the NIA has received "credible inputs about the nexus between some Kashmiri politicians and the hawala brokers to channelize funds for terror outfits in the Valley."
Sources said some of the leaders from the mainstream camps have come under the scanner of the NIA and there was every possibility of them being questioned in the coming days.

SRINAGAR, Nov 10: The government is likely to grant amnesty to domestic and commercial electricity defaulters in the state to clear the dues.
At the same time, the Power Development Department has proposed to purchase power for Rs 7325.13 crore in 2020-2021 to provided 24-hour power supply to the consumers.
