11/14/2023 11:00:53 PM
Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 14: In yet another instance of Kashmir based politicians leaving no opportunity to attack each other, former J&K chief minister and National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah accused former MLA Gulmarg and Apni Party senior leader, Ghulam Hassan Mir, of hatching conspiracies to weaken Kashmir. Addressing a gathering at Tangmarg in North Kashmir, Omar said, “The former MLA Gulmarg has always been at the forefront of such conspiracies and whenever New Delhi entrusted him with the responsibility of hatching any conspiracies, he executed them well.” He said, “In 1984, when there was a conspiracy in New Delhi to topple the National Conference government, the former MLA of Tangmarg was at the forefront of it. Had 1984 not happened, Jammu and Kashmir would not have been in this condition today. The incident of 1984 also became the basis for the deterioration of the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.” Omar said, “When the National Conference passed the Autonomy Resolution in the Assembly in 1999 with a two-third majority, New Delhi got nervous and h...
