JAMMU, Nov 17: Lawlessness in Rural Development Department (RDD) could be gauged from the fact that initially appointed class-IV employes, some of them 'miraculously' reached to post of assistant commissioner development (ACD) block development officer (BDO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) on the basis of fake degrees.
Sources in Civil Secretariat informed Early Times that on the basis of 'fake' obtained through unrecognized study centre (institutes) by the state government, some officials who initially appointed as class-IV have reached to post of deputy secretary, and if the matter remained un-noticed, they further will to post of special secretary too.

srinagar, Nov 17: Throat-slit body of one of the three youth, abducted by militants on Saturday morning, has been recovered in Shopian outskirts.
Police retrieved the body of civilian from village Hermain in Shopian. He has been identified as Huzaif Ashraf son of Mohd Ashraf alias Raja Kandur of Manzgam Kulgam. Body of 19 years Huzaif was handed over to his family after completion of medico-legal formalities.
