“Apologising To Nation...” : PM says 3 farm laws to be abolished | | | Agencies
New Delhi, Nov 19: Three controversial farm laws at the heart of massive farmer protests across the country for over a year will be withdrawn, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today in a stunning announcement just months before elections in states like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
The move comes on the festival of Guru Purab, when Sikhism founder Guru Nanak’s birthday is celebrated, mainly in Punjab.
“While apologising to the nation, I want to say with a sincere and pure heart that maybe something was lacking in our tapasya (dedication) that we could not explain the truth, as clear as the light of the diya, to some of our farmer brothers.

Poonch, Nov 19: An alert has been sounded in Poonch’s Mendhar sub-division after a suspicious drone like object was spotted over villages near Line of Control in the area on Friday. The suspected object with blinking lights was seen flying over villages including Souian, Lanjiote, Dhargaloon and others in the area located in the vicinity of Line of Control.

Srinagar, Nov 19: Cold conditions intensified in the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region on Friday as night temperatures plunged across the union territories.
After witnessing the night temperature above normal a day ago following an overcast sky, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.4 degrees Celsius on Friday against the 2.1 degrees recorded on Thursday. Cold weather conditions coupled with fog engulfed Srinagar and its neighboring areas disrupting normal activities.

Sunderbani, Nov 19: Some miscreants in Batadalla area of Makol Panchayat allegedly obstructed ongoing construction work of 18-km Makol-Hattal road on Friday.

SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The Government today informed that 193 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 23 from Jammu division and 170 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 335016.
