CM Omar to take a call on inducting Cong into cabinet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 19: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and MLA Dooru Ghulam Ahmed Mir on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will take a call on including a Congress member in his cabinet.
“Although we do not have any representative in the government yet it is a reality that this regime is a coalition government. We fought elections jointly. Numbers do not matter. All stakeholders are equally important in the government”, Mir said while interacting with media persons.
When asked about the denial of a ministerial berth to Congress in the government, he said, “It is the prerogative of the Chief Minister but we are very much part and parcel of this government”.

SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday announced the rescheduling of exams for 3rd, 6th, and 9th standards which were earlier scheduled for December 04 will now be conducted on December 9.
“It is notified for all concerned that the PARAKH Centre of Ministry of Education, GoI has scheduled the Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 (formerly NAS) in the entire nation for the classes of 3rd ,6th, and 9th on December 4, 2024.”

SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The night cold intensifies as mercury dropped in Kashmir valley with Pahalgam remaining the coldest place with minus 3.6°C on Tuesday, officials said.
The night temperature dipped in Srinagar, recorded at 0.4°C during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
It was 0.3°C below normal, the first time for the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir during this period of the season.
Pahalgam remained the coldest place with the night temperature dipped to -3.6°C on Tuesday against the -2.6°C recorded a day ago and it was 1.5°C below normal for the tourist spot of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
