Jammu, Nov 21: Amid the unusual bonhomie being exhibited by the Kashmir centric mainstream political groups at present, PDP president in an indirect attack at other PAGD leaders has stated those released prior to her may have cut a deal with the Government of India.
I her first ever TV interview after her release on October 14, this year, when Mehbooba was asked whether she cracked any deal with the Central Government for her release, she said that if she would have cracked any deal with Delhi she would have been set free from detention much earlier.
Such a statement is being viewed as a direct hint towards Abdullahs who were released seven months before Mehbooba. “If I would have cut a deal with the Centre, I would not have been in detention for 14 months. I would have been out very early then,” Mehbooba said.

PDD to bear over Rs 80 cr new losses | | |

Jammu, Nov 21: The Power Department is facing a difficult situation yet again as the recently announced fee waiver scheme for the industrial units would add to its losses, sources told Early Times.
They said the waiver scheme is likely to push the PDD losses to the tune of over Rs 80 crore.
It may be recalled that on September 19 this year the J&K administration had announced economic package of Rs 1350 crore for UT’s struggling business community. In the economic package, government had announced to provide a discount of 50 percent in water and electricity bills for a year on “fixed demand charges for industrial and commercial consumers.”

Srinagar, Nov 21: The Jammu and Kashmir government is suffering huge losses due to theft of power in Kashmir while the Power Development Department and the Jammu and Kashmir Police are allegedly resorting to blame game.
