JAMMU, Nov 25: After the completion of Delimitation exercise in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the Election Commission of India ordered Pre-Revision activities in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir on 10th June 2022, which primarily included the task of mapping the existing Electoral Rolls of 83 pre-delimitation constituencies to the post-delimitation 90 Constituencies, in accordance with the Delimitation Commission’s Order, rationalization of polling stations and integrations of the electoral rolls. On completion of post delimitation follow- up and pre-revision activities, the Commission ordered Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, with reference to 01-10-2022 as the qualifying date.
As per schedule notified by the Commission, the Draft Rolls were published on 15th September 2022. LUCKNOW, Nov 25: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a supplementary charge-sheet against an accused on Friday in a case related to a criminal conspiracy for terror attacks by Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) cadres at different places in UP and other parts of India. Officials said the charge-sheet was filed in the Lucknow-based NIA court.
Sharing a press brief, a senior NIA official said the case was initially registered by the UP ATS in Lucknow on September 12, 2018 after the arrest of some HuM operatives from Kanpur and another terrorist suspect Kamruj Zaman from Assam. Jammu, Nov 25: A major tragedy was averted on Friday when the joint team of security forces defused an improvised explosive device (IED) found in the bag inside a mini bus in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Mohita Sharma said, "on a reliable information a joint naka of Police, CRPF, Army and SOG was established at Nashri."

NEW DELHI, Nov 25: The central government has released an amount worth Rs 17,000 crore to states and Union territories towards the balance GST compensation for the period April to June 2022.
The total amount of compensation released to the States/UTs so far, including thus Rs 17,000 crore, during the year 2022-23 is Rs 1,15,662 crore, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Friday.
