Jammu, Nov 26: A day after former J&K chief minister and National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah stated that Peoples Democratic Party’s intransigence led to Jammu and Kashmir losing its special status, PDP termed NC as ‘power hungry party.’
Talking to reporters in North Kashmir on Saturday Omar said that had the PDP accepted unconditional support of NC following the 2014 Assembly elections, the situation would have been entirely different. “Decision of 2019 could have been averted had the PDP accepted our support to keep the BJP away from corridors of power, Unfortunate tie-up cost the entire region its unique Constitutional position, pushing its people to wall,” he said. “It is a bitter truth that August 5, 2019 would not have been possible if the National Conference had not been weakened.”

Jammu, Nov 26: Anger brewing among leaders and cadre of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as former chief minister and vice-president of the National Conference Omar Abdullah continued his tirade against coalition partner.
A week after calling PDP a creation of the then BJP government in 2000 to counter the NC in Kashmir Valley, Omar Abdullah now blamed PDP for the abrogation of Article 370.

SRINAGAR, Nov 26: Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Sunday predicted light rain or snow at scattered to fairly widespread places during November 29 and 30 in Jammu and Kashmir.
It said the weather will remain generally cloudy, with light rain or snow at isolated places on November 27 and 28, and light rain or snow at scattered to fairly widespread places from November 29–30 in Jammu and Kashmir.
From December 1 to 5, the weather will generally remain partly cloudy, the MeT office said.
