Jammu, Nov 27: Even as the security forces are working hard to restore peace and prosperity in militancy infested Jammu and Kashmir, the Ansar Ghazawatul Hind is trying to cast its evil eye on the Union Territory.
Sources said the intelligence agencies have inputs that the AGH is trying to indoctrinate the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to meet its ulterior motives.
Source said National Investigation Agency has already started investigations into one such case.
It was reliably learnt that the NIA recently conducted searches at five locations in Shopian and Budgam districts of Kashmir in connection with case that was actually filed in Uttar Pradesh in the summer of this year.
Sources said the case pertains to one Umar Halmandi, an Al-Qaeda operative, who along with other accused persons, is accused of radicalizing and recruiting vulnerable youth.

Srinagar, Nov 27: Police along with the other security forces have arrested two militant associates in south Kashmir's Awantipora sub district, here on Saturday.
They said the duo were linked to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant group.
