Jammu, Nov 29: The Jammu and Kashmir administration seems to have been put the proposal for the cap service of 33 years in limbo, citing financial constraints involved in the process as the primary reason.
Sources within the dispensation divulged that the government of Jammu and Kashmir has cited financial implications involved in the process of announcing cap service of 33 years for the incumbent government officials. As per the details coming to the fore, it is going to be nonetheless a Herculean task for the administration of Jammu and Kashmir to implement 33 years of cap service as its outcome is going to put an unprecedented burden upon the state exchequer.
As per the reports that earlier were making rounds, the government was likely to nod to the proposal of setting a limit of 33 years of service in the government, leaving thousands of employees at the brink of retirement.

Jammu, Nov 29: Former Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Satya Pal Malik while addressing a function at Panaji in Goa on Thursday said that bureaucrats in Kashmir had scared him by claiming that if J&K was reorganized more than 1000 people might be killed.
Malik, who saw a landmark political and constitutional transition in J&K during his stint as J&K Governor, revealed that he was even told that "J&K Police will revolt".
"But I am proud of Kashmir Police that even on the occasion of Eid none of the soldiers asked for an off. Everyone was on duty and celebrated Eid (while standing) in the lines," he added.

srinagar, Nov 29: Sensing mischief in the fire that recently gutted a hotel at the famous ski resort of Gulmarg, the locals have demanded a probe into the matter.
A locals said given the way the fire had erupted from the hotel suggested that such incident couldn't take place because of short-circuit. "The entire length and breadth of the hotel caught fire in one go," the locals said.
They apprehend that the hotelier may have done so get insurance cover and come up with a brand new hotel.

srinagar, Nov 29: Taking a serious note, government has directed district development commissioners to ban transmission of unauthorized channels in Kashmir.
"All district development commissioners shall immediately ban transmission/ telecast of unauthorized channels if any being telecasted shall initiate necessary action against the cable operators who are telecasting such channels. Jammu, Nov 29: The Government on Friday issued schedule of hearing of Public Grievances by the Advisors to Lieutenant Governor.
