Jammu, Nov 4: The Congress party is once again in dilemma and this time due to the announcement of the first ever District Development Council (DDC) elections in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As chances are high that the signatories of the Gupkar declaration may give wide berth to the poll process and wouldn’t declare their open support to the elections, Congress party is witnessing the chaos within. SRINAGAR, Nov 4: The reconstitution of Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (J&KPSC) has dented the employment opportunities of unemployed youth of the union territory who appeared in interviews for Assistant Professors in Higher Education department last year in the month of November.

SUNDERBANI, Nov 4: The Public Works Department (PWD) has broken all records of nepotism in this sub-division of Nowshera division in Rajouri district since benefits were showered on an individual who carried out certain works ‘illegally’ and the same were clubbed under the head of the department.
Sources told Early Times that the higher ups of PWD credited an amount of 20 lakh rupees into the account of an individual who had carried out some development works in 2016-17 in private capacity. These works were later on shown to have been carried on the directions of the PWD even no tendering took place.
