Ex-poster girl of Tukde-Tukde gang Shehla Rashid selected as Assistant Professor | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 3: Former poster girl of the Tukde Tukde gang Shehla Rashid Shora has been selected as Assistant Professor by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission in the Sociology subject.
After withdrawing her petition in the Supreme Court challenging the abrogation of Article 370, Shehla Rashid has been praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shehla Rashid along with IAS officer Shah Faesal floated own political party on March 19, 2019, namely Jammu-Kashmir Peoples’ Movement.
Within days after Parliament amended some provisions of Article 370 and completely scrapped Article 35-A, the then Shah Faesal and activist Shehla Rashid had challenged the Centre’s move in the Supreme Court.
A group of seven persons including Shah Faesal and Shehla Rashid had approached the top court challenging the presidential order revoking special status accorded to Jammu and Kashmir, and also the J&K Reorganization Act.

Vow to bring perpetrators to justice: DGP Swain on policeman’s killing | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Nov 4: Police have got leads in their investigation into the targeted killing of a policeman in Baramulla and vowed to bring the killers and their supporters to justice, Jammu and Kashmir DGP R R Swain said on Saturday.
The director general of police visited slain Head Constable Ghulam Mohammad Dar’s residence at Wailoo Kralpora in the north Kashmir district on Saturday. He was accompanied by Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.
Dar was shot dead on October 31.
Talking to reporters outside Dar’s residence, Swain said police have vowed to bring the perpetrators of the terror crime to justice.

Srinagar, Nov 4: In the backdrop of recent target attacks, Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police, R R Swain on Saturday directed the police to strengthen the communication within the ranks and augment the security grids in their respective areas for the safety and security of the people.
The DGP said this while interacting with police personnel in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said Swain visited police station pattan where he reviewed the functioning of the Police station and also checked the details of crime records.

JAMMU, Nov 4: The Jammu And Kashmir Government on Saturday ordered transfer of 3 JKAS officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
According to a government order, Sana Khan, Jr. Scale JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Under Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary.
