GOI censures JK admin over failing AIIMS Project | Seeks reasons for non-utilization of funds, present status report | |

Jammu, Nov 8: The central government has censured the Jammu and Kashmir administration for failing to show any progress on making the much hyped AIIMS project as success in JK's twin capitals of Srinagar and Jammu.
As per the sources who are privy to these details, the central government has sought answers from concerned quarters in Jammu and Kashmir over why they have failed to make any progress in the construction of AIIMS and why the funds sanctioned by the union government haven't been utilized to the fullest.
The JK administration, said sources, is preparing a detailed reply in which the status of the project will be highlighted and the hurdles that occurred in its implementation will also be thoroughly presented before the GOI.
Meanwhile, the official data reveals that out of the total Rs Two Thousand Crores, the government sanctioned Rs Nine Thousand crores at the first place for the construction of AIIMS in Jammu. JAMMU, Nov 8: A few politicians in Jammu & Kashmir are pitching for constituting the Advisory Council, which according to them, can fill the political vacuum.
According to the media reports, some Kashmir-centric politicians who had visited New Delhi last month had suggested that Advisory Council comprising of the political leaders should be formed to make a new beginning.

JAMMU, Nov 8: An influential Station House Officer (SHO), who is posted in Jammu Kathua Samba range, is allegedly misused his power and made a deal with a rape accused by leaving him few days ago. If highly placed police sources are to be believed, a few days ago a girl approached police station for seeking registration of an FIR against a person, who allegedly tried to rape her but no case was registered by the concerned police station because the accused is working in belt force.
