Jammu, Nov 30: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar on Tuesday placed Chief Education Officer under suspension on his last day of service for issuing fraudulent transfer orders of 396 government teachers by forging the date.
According to the details available with Early Times
Rashpal Singh Chouhan, CEO Kishtwar was suspended after Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar received an information about the mass scale transfer of teachers through backdated order.
“In view of the enquiry done by your office and discussion held with you today, the order No. DCK/PS/21/838 dated 30-11-2021 issued by your office in view of serious nature of lapses as also discussed, is hereby confirmed” read Government Order No. 1672 -Edu of 2021.
In the suspension order vide No: DCK|Ps|21| 838 Dated: 30-11-202, DC Kishtwar stated that it was brought into the notice of this office that, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar who is going to retire on superannuation on 30.11.2021 has issued transfer order of teachers on the day of his retirement.

New Delhi, Nov 30: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chairman Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said that Article 370 of the Constitution of India, which was abrogated in August 2019, has to be reinstated, to bring back normalcy in the Union Territory.

New Delhi, Nov 30: As many as 1,678 Kashmiri migrants have returned to Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 for taking up jobs under the Prime Minister's Development Package-2015, the government informed parliament on Tuesday.
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai also said that as per information provided by the government of Jammu and Kashmir, the land of 150 applicants has been restored.
