‘Vacant posts in Hindi, Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy filled in J&K Universities’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 9: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said that the vacant posts for Hindi, Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy in Universities in J&K have been filled.
“Today, Indian Philosophy is being taught in Universities of the UT. This is a testimony to our commitment to promote cultural and linguistic traditions in Jammu Kashmir,” Sinha said while addressing the 11th Foundation Day function of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust.

Srinagar, Dec 9: Srinagar recorded seasons coldest night with temperature dropping to minus 4.6 degrees Celsius, as the cold wave continues to sweep the entire valley.

Srinagar, Dec 9 : A fast track court in Srinagar Saturday convicted a man for sexually assaulting his minor daughter. After hearing Additional Public Prosecutor Muhammad Maqbool Shah and defence counsel, POSCO court presided over by Aarti Mohan said that prosecution has established the guilt of the accused beyond reasonable doubt, a Srinagar based news agency reported.
“The prosecution has also succeeded in establishing offence of sexual harassment also against the accused person.

New Delhi, Dec 9: More than 7.43 lakh “fake” job cards under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme were deleted in 2022-23, of which over 2.96 lakh were in Uttar Pradesh, the Centre has said in the Lok Sabha.
In a written response to a question this week, Minister of State for Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti shared data on fake job cards.
The data showed 7,43,457 fake job cards were deleted in 2022-23 and 3,06,944 in 2021-22.
