Attack on PDP leader: Mehbooba avoids attacking terrorists for killing PSO of party leader | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: Frustrated over peoples’ overwhelming participation in the on-going District Development Councils (DDCs) elections, Pakistan sponsored terrorists in J&K have started attacking politicians.
On Monday, a group of these terrorists attacked senior leader of PDP, Haji Parvez Ahmed. While fighting with terrorists, PSO of PDP leader attained martyrdom to protect Haji Parvez.
President of the PDP and former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti condemned the attack on her party leader but she could not muster the guts to speak even a single word against terrorists and their masters sitting across the border for masterminding this gruesome attack. Instead of speaking against terrorists, the PDP president shifted all blames on the government for giving inadequate security to opposition leaders.

Jammu, Dec 14: While as Kashmir centric parties like PDP and NC have started a ‘vicious’ campaign by creating fear about demographic change in the Valley only to hoodwink the gullible people of Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha said that not even a single outsider has purchased land in J&K after August 5, 2019.
“Give me a single example of any outsider having bought land here. Since August 5, 2019, tell me a single name. I challenge anyone to name one person from outside who has bought land here. This is baseless,” LG in an interview with national English daily.

Jammu, Dec 14: The special power lines given to VIPs in Poonch area as well as in some part of Jammu district has been creating problem for common people living nearby, who alleged that officials of the Power Development Department (PDD) has been sending inflated power bills to make up expense on these connections.
Local residents of Poonch area and Akhnoor from Jammu, who alleged that special lines have been given to VIPs while the common people have been suffering a lot during erratic power cuts. “The Meter Readers take deliberately high readings and send us inflated power bills, which has created resentment among the people,” they alleged.

UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: Believe it or not! In an open violation of the polling guidelines a man has clicked a picture of the ballot paper on his cell phone after putting the stamp on the candidate of his choice and then put the ballot paper into the ballot box.
The incident took place in a polling station in Jaganoo area of Udhampur district where the polling was going on under the strict vigilance and even media cameras were not allowed in the voting room.

SRINAGAR, Dec 14: The number of Corona Virus positive cases in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reached 1, 16,254 as 246 new cases of virus were reported today. The death toll due to the virus reached 1,802 with three deaths being reported in past 24 hours.
