1.27 lakh fake ration cards deleted in J&K during digitization process | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 17: As many as 1,27,872 ration cards have been deleted because these cards were found fake during the process of digitizing and re-verification.
A total number of 5, 87, 22,894 fake ration cards have been cancelled in the whole country during the last ten years after the government started the process of seeding the Aadhar cards and other documents in the Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS).
The highest number of 1,93,54,572 fake ration cards were detected in Uttar Pradesh, followed by 85,59,560 in West Bengal, 46, 12,756 in Maharashtra and 43, 68, 125 in Andra Pradesh.
