Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 18: After giving job and land rights to the inhabitants of Ladakh, the Union Government is seriously thinking to grant a sixth schedule like a constitutional guarantee to the Union Territory to ‘placate the annoyed’ people. Ironically, residents of Jammu and Kashmir have been agitating to get land and job rights but nothing has been done so far. Even the ruling BJP had promised to project land and job rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir but promises remained only on papers. Although the Union Government has given many concessions to the Ladakh region in contrast to Jammu and Kashmir where even land and job rights of the people are not protected. But the leadership of Ladakh is not relenting anything less than statehood. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Dec 18: The Government today informed that 151 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 42 from Jammu division and 109 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339691.Also, 01 COVID deaths has been reported from Jammu Division.
