Jammu, Dec 18: Social media in India and Pakistan is abuzz with intense speculation that the absconder terrorist, Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, has reportedly been "poisoned and critical" in a Karachi hospital, barely a week ahead of his 68th birthday on December 26.
The first of the buzz started in Mumbai on Sunday evening, but police and intel circles denied any such thing, though they assured that there is constant monitoring of all these types of reports emanating from neighbouring country Pakistan.

Jammu, Dec 18: The much-awaited Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation (second amendment) bill-2023 was cleared in the Rajya Sabha on Monday to pave the way for reserving one-third of all elected seats in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for women. Earlier on Thursday the Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha and passed with majority. Srinagar, Dec 18: Four back-to-back earthquakes of moderate intensity struck Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Monday, officials said.
There was no report of loss of life or damage to any property.
As per National Center for Seismology- which monitors earthquake activity all across the country- the first earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter Scale hit J&K and Ladakh at around 3.48 pm.
The earthquake was located at latitude of 33.41 and longitude 76.70. Its centre was located 10 kilometres beneath the ground in Kargil region of union territory of Ladakh.
